FRIDAY Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines...We salute you! Take a tourmobile through Arlington National Cemetery to visit the Kennedy gravesites and see the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Visit the Vietnam Memorial Wall, Union Station, the World War II Memorial, Navy Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial, and the Korean Memorial. Dinner at one of D.C.'s oldest restaurants, The Market Inn, will be followed by a theatrical performance. (CB,D) SATURDAY Visit the Holocaust Memorial Museum to relive the life of a prisoner in a concentration camp and find out if you are fortunate enough to survive. This afternoon and evening are free to take in any of the museums of the Smithsonian Institution such as the Air and Space, American History, or the National Portrait Gallery. (CB) SUNDAY Overlooking the Potomac River is Mount Vernon, the estate of George Washington. A tour and lunch will bring our history lesson to a close as dusk finds us on the familiar road home.
