DCWWIITHURSDAY      This DC experience begins at the National Archives building where our nation's most important documents, including the Declaration of Independence is kept. Check-in for a three-night stay at the centrall located downtown Hampton Inn. Enjoy dinner with a spectacular river view at Pier 7 followed by an evening tour of monuments such as the Lincoln, Jefferson, and Washington Memorials all illuminated at night. (D)

FRIDAY      Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines...We salute you! Take a tourmobile through Arlington National Cemetery to visit the Kennedy gravesites and see the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Visit the Vietnam Memorial Wall, Union Station, the World War II Memorial, Navy Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial, and the Korean Memorial. Dinner at one of D.C.'s oldest restaurants, The Market Inn, will be followed by a theatrical performance. (CB,D)

SATURDAY     Visit the Holocaust Memorial Museum to relive the life of a prisoner in a concentration camp and find out if you are fortunate enough to survive. This afternoon and evening are free to take in any of the museums of the Smithsonian Institution such as the Air and Space, American History, or the National Portrait Gallery. (CB)

SUNDAY      Overlooking the Potomac River is Mount Vernon, the estate of George Washington. A tour and lunch will bring our history lesson to a close as dusk finds us on the familiar road home. (CB,L)
