MyrtleBeachSUNDAY      Fidelity has been to Myrtle Beach for many years and we always had a jammed packed schedule with so much to see and do. This year we are taking a different approach, a much more leisurely itinerary with lots of free time to enjoy the beach. Our first night out is spent in Ft. Mill, South Carolina.

MONDAY      South Carolina is famous for pecans and Young's Pecan Plantation is it's Mecca. Welcome to The Columns, an 1850's southern antebellum home and working plantation farm, still producing cotton and peanuts today. This is so special! Historians in period costume provide a tour of the property followed by an elegant six course Victorian Tea. Late afternoon finds us on the shores of the Atlantic at the luxurious Sandy Beach Resort. Each oceanfront suite has a balcony, separate bedroom and living room plus a small kitchen. (CB,Tea)

TUESDAY     The ecosystem in the low country is very fragile. Learn about the plants, animals, birds and marine life on Captain Dick's Discovery Cruise. Discover first hand what exists under the water using a dredge net. Then the entire afternoon is free to enjoy the beach and hotel amenities. RIOZ, Brazillian Steakhouse serves dinner in a centuries-old tradition with its tableside offerings known as rodizio-style dining. This evening, witness the Le Grande Cirque at the Palace Theatre. This show is mesmerizing...magical...electrifying...simply spellbinding! (CB,D)

WEDNESDAY      We're off to Charleston for a day of exploring! A local guide will provide tales and lore of the low country and the history of the rice culture from centuries gone by.A carriage ride through the quaint neighborhoods of the historic district is included. This afternoon, there is plenty of time to explore, shop and eat at the Charleston's City Market. Returning to Myrtle Beach, enjoy a fabulous dinner at Bovine's Wood-fired Grill at Murrells Inlet. (CB,D)

THURSDAY      This morning's theme is "Adventure in Art" at the Myrtle Beach Art Museum. Author Susan McMillan shares her experiences researching and writing her popular book Myrtle Beach and Conway in vintage Postcard. Susan will help everyone will use their creativity and design their own postcard from Myrtle Beach to take home. Refreshments will be served on the Museum's Tea Porch. We could not visit the beach without stopping at the Tanger Outlets for some end of the season bargains. Dinner is going to be a wonderful experience at Greg Norman's, one of the fniest restaurants on the strand. Tonight, it's the exciting show "One" at the Alabama Theatre. A high-energy show that combines humor and dance with everything from Rock & Roll to Broadway, Country, Pop and Gospel Music. (CB,D)

FRIDAY      One last beach walk before traveling north. Afternoon finds us in the Piedmont at Jonesville, North Carolina. Pleasure your pallet at Shelton Vineyards with a tour, tasting and dinner at their Harvest Grill. (CB,D)

SATURDAY      The miles pass quickly as we retrace our route northward. Say farewell to your new Fidelity friends. It's been a most relaxing week! (CB)
