TUESDAY      Traveling through rich Iowa farmland and heading for the Big Sioux River, our day ends in Sioux Falls, SD with lodging at the Country Inn and Suites. (B)

WEDNESDAY     This is South Dakota! Stop at the famous Wall Drug Store where ice water is free and coffee only costs 5 cents. Our destination is the Black Hills. Stop to see Stav Kirke, the Norwegian Chapel in the Hills, en route to Deadwood, our home for a two-night stay. Learn about the lives of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane on a guided tour of this gold rush boomtown. (CB,D)

THURSDAY      Adventure with a capital "A" is today's plan. Visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial, one of the largest pieces of sculpture ever created. Travel to Custer State Park for a back-road Jeep safari to scout for buffalo and other wildlife that roam free in the park. Then see the progress of the epic monument of Chief Crazy Horse. Spend a free evening and perhaps try your luck at the "gaming saloons" in Deadwood tonight. (B,L)

FRIDAY      Travel today through Badlands National Park to see a spectacular example of a "moonscape on earth". On to Mitchell for a look at the Corn Palace -- the only building in the world decorated inside and out with corn. Return to Sioux Falls for the evening. (B,L)

SATURDAY       Head eastward through Iowa with a return stay at The Lodge. Spend our last night together at the Circa 21 Dinner Theatre to see the humorous show "Are We There Yet ? " (CB,D)

SUNDAY       Returning home, with a stop at Amish Acres in Nappanee, Indiana. You ahve the entire day to count the many memorable experiences of your "Wild West Adventure". (B,L)
